Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts Launches “Spirit of Sustainability”

Indonesia has shown significant progress in its pursuit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since they were first adopted in 2015. The nation has implemented various strategic policies and programs aimed at meeting the 17 global goals with a target of 100% achievement in 2030. Overall, Indonesia has achieved 62.5% of the total SDG targets that can be evaluated. With five years remaining until 2030, Indonesia continues to strive to accelerate the full achievement of the SDGs through collaboration between the government, private sector, and the community.

Responding to the government’s invitation to make this program a success, Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts is also working with the government to help accelerate Indonesia’s SDG success. With a total of 114 hotel units spread across more than 50 cities in Indonesia, Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts is committed to forming and implementing a “Sustainable Culture” not only across all its hotels but also all within the employees themselves through its “Spirit of Sustainability” program. The program was rolled out simultaneously in more than 50 cities in Indonesia on April 25, 2025 to coincide with its commemoration of Earth Day, with the main event being the activation of the Solar Power Plant at The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali by the Governor of Bali, Mr. Wayan Koster.
