On June 20, 2025, The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali, proudly took part in two significant environmental events in support of Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts sustainability initiative.
Early on, the resorts team spearheaded a community-driven initiative called Earth Care Beach Cleaning. Employees and in-house guests joined the program, which ran from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. along the Kuta resort’s coastline, to help remove trash and garbage from the shoreline. In addition to maintaining the natural beauty of Bali’s coastline, this project served as a reminder of the importance of shared responsibility in protecting the environment.
Later in the morning, the ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali joined other Santika Indonesia Regional Bali hotels in a Mangrove Cleaning program in Taman Hutan Raya Ngurah Rai, organized in collaboration with Sungai Watch. The goal of this 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. project was to clean up the mangrove area, an ecosystem vital to biodiversity and coastal preservation of plastic waste and other debris.
Both programs show The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental care, which is consistent with Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts’ overarching objective. By combining internal projects with larger group initiatives, our resorts continue their proactive efforts to build a more sustainable future for Bali.
